Dear parents,
Thank you so much for making our book fair a great success, and also for buying all the books from our class wish list!
I would also like to thank all the parents who organized and helped us with the fall festival. We had a wonderful time and the kids had a blast!!
In October, the children enjoyed painting pumpkins, fall leaves, and handprint ghosts. This month, we will do crafts related to Thanksgiving and fall.

This month, we will talk about being thankful and read books about thanksgiving. We will be talking about different types of apples and tasting them.
Our Thanksgiving feast will be on November 20th, signup sheets will be posted on the white board.

November 12th: Veterans Day, school closed

Ms. Uma’s October 2018 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much to all the parents who came to the peace day potluck, we enjoyed your company!

October brings cooler weather and Halloween fun. We will be talking about leaves changing color, pumpkins, trick or treating, and costumes.

We will be having a book fair from October 1st to the 4th. You can donate a book to the class wish list, which will be posted on the white board.

Picture day is October 10th, only individual pictures will be taken. Please let me know if you want your child’s picture taken.

Fall festival will be on October 26th from 9:00 to 11:00AM. Parents are welcome to join for the event. Please bring your child dressed in their costumes!

Reminders:
Please don’t forget to send a big pack of wipes every month, we run out of them very quickly.

Mrs. Uma’s December Toddler Newsletter

Dear parents,

Thank you for making the Thanksgiving feast special, we had a lot of fun. I can’t believe it is already December! This month we will be doing lots of holiday crafts and reading books about the holidays and winter. We will continue to work with sandpaper letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. The children also enjoy decorating the mini Christmas tree which is a new work in the classroom. Mr. Jason will have a holiday musical performance at the cookie exchange on December 10th. Thank you for all of your continued support. Happy holidays and have a great winter break!

Dear Parents,

Thank you all for for coming to the Peace Day Potluck, we enjoyed having you. October brings cooler weather and Halloween fun. We will be spending extra time outside, enjoying the cooler weather. We will be talking about the leaves changing color, pumpkins, trick or treating and costumes. We will also be reading books and doing art related to fall. We will have a Halloween parade on 30th at 9:00 am. Please send your kids in their costumes. Toddlers will not have parent teacher conferences. If you would like to help with the fall festival, the sign up sheet is in the classroom. Happy Fall!!

Dear parents,
The month of August was filled with excitement and fun! The
children are busy getting to know each other, exploring, and engaging
in various sensory activities. This month we will be talking about
sharing, love, and peace. We will be celebrating peace day on
September 21st and we will also be doing crafts related to peace day.
The peace day potluck will be in the evening and each family can bring
a dish to share with the class.

Mrs. Uma’s August Newsletter

Welcome to all the returning and new families to CCM! I hope everybody had a great summer. We had a great start to the school year, and the children are adjusting to their daily routines. We will introduce the Montessori process, which will include getting a work rug, choosing the work, completing the work, and putting it away. Our lessons will encourage the children in various areas of skills such as: cognitive, motor, language, social, sensory and practical life.

This year Ms. Del and I will be teaching your children. We both have been working at CCM for nine years, and we are very excited to work with your children this year. If you have any questions feel free to contact me by text or email.
