Our Story

For over 25 years, Cave Creek Montessori has been a family-run school, dedicated to creating a warm and supportive learning environment. Founded by Roy and Kathy in 1998, the school started in their family home with just one classroom. Today, we have expanded to 5 classrooms, serving toddlers through kindergarten.

Director Kelsey, who grew up in Montessori education herself, carries forward her family’s passion for nurturing young minds. With a team of dedicated educators, we continue to inspire children to embrace learning as a joyful and lifelong journey.

Not only did my daughter learn the important life skills montessori teaches, but Ms. Brenda had her reading by age 4 and adding numbers so large they would go off the page.     All three of my children attended CCM from preschool through kindergarten. By the time they finished, each was fluently reading, able to write full sentences, and not only adding and subtracting, but able to multiply and divide as well. Even better, they are all confident learners, approaching each new academic task with the creativity, patience, and critical thinking skills that grew out of their years at CCM. All three developed cose friendships that still remain, even years after kindergarten graduation. This little school built the solid foundation upon which their educations will continue to grow. I am deeply grateful for the love, talented teaching, and guidance my children have received from CCM for the past 8 years. Cannot recommend highly enough!

    This is a wonderful school with genuinely kind and caring teachers and staff. And this school has a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters a sense of community among the students and parents. The facilities are top-notch, with plenty of outdoor space for the kids to play and explore.
    My son loves going to school every day, and he never complains. I have seen my son grow from a shy kid at the age of three to a confident five-year-old with strong educational and social skills. His love for learning has been cultivated here. Every time he learns something new, he gets excited to come home and share it with us, be it sign language or telling time.

All the teachers are absolutely amazing and truly care about each child. I love all the extra curricular programs like Spanish, music and yoga.
